Agreements for Life

What is the Agreements Experience?

This experience is not a workshop, a course. It is an “ing" thing. It is not something that happened once upon a time and it is not something that can only happen in the future when you feel ready.

These experiences include practices that challenge self-intimacy as we learn how to honor personal boundaries emphasizing at the same time self-awareness and self-care.

This experience is an endless, ongoing revelation. It is ongoing daily diving – of realizing, embodying, “arousing freedom inside you”. It’s about arouse-ing in body, it is about arouse-ing soul! It is arouse-ing in presence!

It is about supporting, encouraging, and nourishing the human being that is YOU!

Your experience is going to be active rather than passive, powerful rather than powerless. Most importantly, we acknowledge that when it comes to practicing the exercises, the body is the essential place of change.

There are progressive levels of engagement as you learn to prioritize self-love, self-responsibility, personal boundaries, and open communication, your body begins to reveal a new physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual state of wellness.

For years, I have been facilitating workshops internationally, either FreeFall or most recently, Wheel of Consent workshops

Now, after the Pandemic hiatus, I became a certified teacher at the School of Consent and I would like to offer you this fantastic opportunity to experience and explore the nuances of Agreements and Consent.

Using a combination of embodied practice, fun games, discussion, and Q&A, this experience promises to be powerful, playful, and full of insight and laughter.

And lots more!

ONLINE or IN-PERSON - Agreements Experience - Intro Level

This experiential workshop is very interactive and mostly done in an online format. All the adaptations for the online format create a lot of learning opportunities, laughter, and surprising discoveries.

With a focus on your internal, embodied experience and with an eye toward sharing these skills with others in your life, we will explore:

  • The difference between your boundaries and your limits (and how to leverage this for more pleasure and deeper explorations).

  • Why we don’t ask, what we do instead, and how this is a clue about what you really want

  • How “I only want it if the other person does too” undermines relationships and keeps you from getting what you want — and the transformative concept that changes this!

  • Practices of Giving and Receiving that clarify who the action is for — and are really fun!

  • The difference between what you like and what you want (and why that matters)

  • Understanding the Freeze and Fawn trauma responses and how these common responses shape your ability to reach agreements in life

  • What to do (individually and collectively) when a consent violation occurs, to rebuild connections and create healing

Games you can play with lovers, friends, and family members to make building consent skills fun!
